We were going to go to the movies but it didn't work out. Then we decided to go to Menchies and fish the big Thompson river. The kids had finished their summer reading goal and earned free coupons to Menchies (I helped Moroni of course eat his ;p but he loved having some!). When we got to the lake we were first going to fish at we ate pizza and had slurpies and gatorade. The lake was not good fishing or kid friendly so we moved on to th river up north a bit. It ended up being a much better choice! Nathan caught brown trout while the kids and I explored and splash around. Good times as always!
